Description:The World Bank has over 20 years of experience in assisting clients to monetize their emissions reductions, to help finance broader climate and development goals. This area has gained new prominence as part of the Bank’s deepening work on climate change. This is reflected in the new World Bank Engagement Roadmap for Carbon Markets, which includes commitments to support countries in generating supply of high integrity credits through the Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF) and by further leveraging our wider portfolio of Bank operations. As we ramp up implementation of these actions, it’s important to better understand the challenges and opportunities these activities can present for clients and task teams. This Knowledge Café will discuss key lessons and experiences from the Bank in creating the right incentives through results-based climate finance to generate marketable high-quality emissions reductions. *Watch Event| https://www.worldbank.org/knowledgecafe*
