Description:This event will highlight how trade has supported economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and explore what can be done to enable trade to contribute more to economic growth and prosperity around the world. We will examine the importance of trade in maintaining supplies of food and other essential goods in the wake of the pandemic. We will look at actions policymakers could take to facilitate trade, including removal of non-tariff barriers and support for transport logistics and expanding trade finance.
