IMF Connect
Q: What is the difference between IMF.org and IMFConnect.org?
A: IMF.org is the public site of the IMF. IMFConnect.org shares dedicated information to the IMF Membership as well as exclusive Annual/Spring meetings material. Both IMF.org and IMFConnect.org provide the schedule, videos and pictures of the Annual/Spring Meetings. However, IMFConnect has additional information that is not offered on IMF.org (i.e. Participant Directory). IMFConnect also provides features such as Messages, Events you may be Interested, or People Sharing Interests, to enhance your experience during your visit. You can also subscribe to the events on the IMFConnect Calendar page, so you can get updates of the events you are interested in.
Q: Do I need to sign up to access IMFConnect?
A: Any person can access IMFConnect.org. However, there is content and information only available to registered users. This includes Event Pages, Participant Directory, Participant Guide, among others.
Q: How do I sign up to IMFConnect?
A: To sign up to IMFConnect, follow the steps:
Make sure that you are registered for the Annual/Spring Meetings.
- Enter IMFConnect.org.
- Click the link “Not a member? Sign up here”
- Enter your personal information and click “Submit”.
Wait and check for your confirmation e-mail. Usually, it takes us 30 minutes to process your request. However, time response varies depending on traffic. Contact us if you haven’t received your mail within 24 hours.
- Open the e-mail and click the link to create a new password.
- Choose your new password.
- Sign-in using your new user.
Q: I forgot my password; how can I access IMFConnect?
A: To reset your password, follow the steps:

- Click the link to reset your password.

Open the e-mail and click the link to reset your password. The link works only once, once you click it, you need to set a new password. If you couldn’t complete the process, you can always generate a new link (go to step d). Make sure that you always use the link from the most recent e-mail.
- Create your new password.
- Sign-in using your new password.
Q: I forgot my user name; how can I access IMFConnect?
A: Try using “reset password” with the e-mail addresses you think may be registered. If an e-mail is not registered, you will receive a “user not registered” mail. If your user is registered, follow the steps to reset your password. If you receive a “user not registered” mail in all your accounts, this means that you are not registered, and therefore need to sign up to IMFConnect.
Q: Can I stay logged in the website?
A: If you remain inactive, you will be logged out after some time.
