Harnessing the capital markets for sustainable development in South and South-East Asia
An IFR Seminar in partnership with Moody’s Investors Service and MUFG
Taking place over lunch on Saturday October 13 2018 at the 2018 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group, this seminar will bring together public and private sector participants to discuss ways to deepen the capital markets in South and South-East Asia.
With a special focus on financing sustainable development, this panel discussion will highlight recent progress in mobilising institutional investors to support economic growth in India and the ASEAN economies. Moderated by IFR Asia’s Editor, Steve Garton, the panelists will debate ways to promote local and international debt capital markets as an alternative to bank financing, and provide insight on the growth of demand for sustainable and responsible investments.
The event is free to attend for all attendees at the 2018 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group, and you can secure your place here.
