Description:This will be a conversation on creating jobs in fragile and conflict-affected situations (FCS) by unlocking domestic private enterprise. Jobs-especially for youth and marginalized groups-help stabilize communities and build resilience. The discussion will look at practical ways to tackle common barriers-weak rule of law, limited capacity, small markets, informality, and security risks-and how to work with private actors who are operating in the FCS/FCV context.
