Overview

What will it take to build a dynamic and resilient economy for the next generation?

AI is transforming the way we work. Young entrepreneurs are building new businesses and creating new opportunities. But who will benefit—and what will it take to make sure the next generation can participate?

Join IMF First Deputy Managing Director Dan Katz and three dynamic young leaders from across Asia for a conversation about the forces reshaping the region—and what they mean for the next generation.

Hear from Aukrit Unahalekhaka, Co-founder and CEO of Thara Green, bringing the perspective of a Thai technology entrepreneur; Mei Chel Tan, Managing Partner at 500 Global, on what it takes for the next generation of entrepreneurs to start, scale, and compete; and Sarah Rauzana, Chairperson of the ASEAN Youth Organization, on the aspirations, concerns, and priorities of young people across Southeast Asia.

Together, they will tackle some of the biggest questions facing Asia’s next generation: How will AI change jobs and the skills young people need? Where will Asia’s next sources of growth and innovation come from? What is holding young entrepreneurs back? And what can policymakers do to make sure more young people can participate in—and benefit from—the opportunities ahead?

And this isn’t just a conversation on stage. We want to hear from you. Bring your questions, perspectives, and ideas for the audience Q&A—and join the conversation about the future you will help shape.
