Managing Director, IMF

Kristalina Georgieva is the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). She is the first person from an emerging market economy to lead the IMF since its inception in 1944. Before joining the Fund, Ms. Georgieva was Chief Executive Officer of the World Bank and also served as Interim President for a time. Previously, she served at the European Commission as Vice President for Budget and Human Resources – and as Commissioner for International Cooperation, Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Response. She was named “European of the Year” and “Commissioner of the Year” by European Voice for her leadership in the European Union’s humanitarian response to crises.

Co-Founder and CEO, Addo

Dr. Ayesha Khanna is a globally recognized artificial intelligence expert, entrepreneur, advisor, and futurist. She is Co-Founder and CEO of Addo, a global AI solutions firm, and advises leading corporations and governments on artificial intelligence, smart cities, digital transformation, and the future of work. 

Recognized by Forbes as one of Southeast Asia’s groundbreaking female entrepreneurs, Ayesha is known for helping leaders understand how emerging technologies can amplify human potential and shape more inclusive, innovative societies. She has served on a variety of global boards and advisory bodies, including Johnson Controls, NEOM Tonomous, and L’Oréal’s Scientific Advisory Board, and was the founder of 21C Girls, a charity that provided free coding and AI education for girls. 

Ayesha holds degrees from Harvard University, Columbia University, and the London School of Economics, where her Ph.D. focused on digital innovation in smart cities.

Sabina Bhatia is Director at Corporate Services and Facilities Department of the IMF. Prior to that, she was Deputy Secretary of the IMF. Sabina has a B.A. from Calcutta University and an M.A. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University.
