Technology for Prosperity in Emerging and Developing Economies

Location: G-09

Technology

Overview

New technologies offer a transformative—though unevenly shared—opportunity to lift productivity, strengthen growth, and accelerate diversification in emerging and developing economies. The question is no longer whether these technologies will matter, but whether countries can build the foundations to turn them into engines of prosperity, resilience, and convergence. This panel will examine how countries can harness technology's potential equitably while managing its risks.
