Two competing forces—geopolitical developments and the AI-driven technology cycle —are reshaping the global economy. Together with profoud demographic and trade shifts and persistent imbalances, these crosscurrents are reconfiguring the global landscape and raising important questions about the path ahead. As policymakers navigate near-term disruptions, they must also lay the foundations for stronger, balanced and inclusive medium-term growth.
Against this backdrop, this debate will explore how countries can build resilient and dynamic economies in an increasingly fragmented and uneven global landscape.
